Ok. I loved this family.
Kind. Fun. Helpful. Up for anything.
Tami contacted me awhile ago to set up a session while her brother would be here in town. Everything worked out perfectly, from the little guy adjusting to the time change - to the perfect weather.

Oh, hello cute bench. I've got a feeling you will be seeing more of it. :)

Ed & Ginny Married

This beautiful bride is one of my best friends mom and I can't tell you excited I am for her & this new adventure in her life.
The wedding day started off overcast, and at the same time the ceremony was to start, so did the rain. It poured, and poured some more; and just as quickly as it came it went. Leaving everyone to enjoy the perfect celebration.
Cheers to this couple!

One of the perks to what I do is the variety that comes with it.
Lana's family threw her a surprise birthday party, and what better gift can you give to someone who carries her camera with her everywhere than a night off at her own party!?!

The Joy Purse Club

I got a last minute call to see if I could take pictures for this couple's who is putting together their new website and wanted some "mood shots" as we called them. Cindy and her husband were so great to work with. Loved them.
Check out their temporary site until the new one is up and running.

Tu tu cute.

What A Hoot

We've done the one a day post. Now we are on to two a day.
I'm gonna get caught up on my blog, if it means I lose my sleep.

My sister in law has such a cute etsy shop with darling headbands and hair clips for all ages.
She is also on facebook.

i love utah

The camping here rocks; minus the rocks you get in the middle of your back under your sleeping bag.
Air mattress' are where it's at; as long as they don't get a hole and you end up all piling onto one.
Camp fire conversations are always interesting; especially when it get's late.

...and the mountains here are beyond beautiful

GG & A

I've had the pleasure of taking this families pictures a few times now. They were actually one of my very first families back when I started taking pictures for others.
This time Mom thought it would be fun to surprise Dad with pictures of the kids for Father's Day and wanted something a little different than what we've done together.
We met at the park for some good old fashioned play time. My instructions were not so posed, candid pictures. I love the way they turned out:

Every so often you pull out the big guns to get the kids to feel like they are playing and not having to have pictures taken. And were talking BIG, because what kids actually hold still and do just what you want them to right?! These little squirts were too funny. The three of them didn't want to be in the pictures together at the same time. If you could have been a fly on the wall on this one we would have had you either laughing or thinking I was crazy. :)

Thanks again you guys, your kids are adorable!

What a sweet little face. She is a doll.

Chrissy Tanner Wedding

Introducing the coolest couple around.
I'm so happy for these two who are so great together. It was a perfect day for sure.
We took the bridal/groomal pictures at the temple and around it ahead of time, and on the wedding day I met them at Millennial Falls Reception Center, which is beautiful. I especially loved the detail in the gardens, and the brides room; The little girls getting all dolled up for the wedding, they were too cute.

I love this one:

This was my first maternity session ever and I loved every minute of it. When I started taking this little bed out on shoots in the Spring I would lie in bed at night thinking up what I could do with it. This was one of my thoughts: Maternity's with it in an open field. I finally got the chance... and I'm excited to do it again.
These two were great, easy going and up for anything. Now we wait until the baby comes :)
